  • Pre-Season Outlook

    Mims had a disappointing rookie season in 2023. However, that didn't appear to be the case early in the season. Over the first four games, Mims averaged 60.5 yards. Afterwards, his production dried up. After Week 4, Mims surpassed 16 yards once. There is room for optimism based on what Mims accomplished early in the season. It's possible that with both Russell Wilson and Jerry Jeudy gone, Mims will have opportunity break his way. In terms of the quarterback, coach Sean Payton could call for more downfield passes from Bo Nix to utilize Mims' speed. Then with Jeudy no longer around, Mims could be in a training camp battle with Josh Reynolds, Tim Patrick and Troy Franklin for a prominent role in the offense. Should Mims have a strong August, it could lead to a big increase in playing time. Mims remains a risky fantasy option, but his situation could be vastly improved.
